New Life in Christ

We have great news for your life! Jesus became the sacrifice for sin when He willingly died an excruciating death on the cross. Not one of us has lived a perfect life. We all needed a Savior, and Jesus is that Savior! Perhaps you believe in God but have never taken the time to develop a personal relationship with Him. Today, take time to pray and receive Jesus in your life as your Savior. You will then be ready to pursue God’s plan for your life.

To receive Jesus as your Savior, pray this prayer from your heart:

Dear God,   I come to You in the Name of Jesus. You said “…whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). I am calling on You. Right now I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be my Savior and Lord. I believe Jesus died on the cross and became the sacrifice for my sin. I receive Him now. I am now a child of God. Heaven is my eternal home. Father God, I ask You to lead and guide me. Help me to grow and find Your plan for my life. Thank You, Lord, for making me new and giving me eternal life! Amen

2 Corinthians 5:17 New King James Version (NKJV)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

If you prayed and received Jesus as your Savior, let us know so we can rejoice with you. We are here to pray for you if you have any needs.

Water Baptism

After you have received Jesus as your Savior, the Bible says you should be water baptized.

Baptism does not “save you.” Receiving Jesus saves you. However, baptism is one of your first acts of obedience to God. Let us know you desire to be water baptized, and we will set us a time to do so.

Matthew 28:19-20 New King James Version (NKJV)
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Your Church Family

Everyone needs a place to grow in God. God has a church family for you. It will be a place where the Bible is preached so you can learn and grow. It will be a place where you can receive prayer from loving and caring believers. It will even be a place where you can learn to use your gifts and abilities to serve the Lord.

If you are in our area we would love to help you grow in your walk with God. Come and grow with us at Living Word Church.

1 Corinthians 12:18 New King James Version (NKJV)
18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.
