1. Pray the Prayer of Salvation
Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior is the first and most important step in your faith journey. This prayer is a personal decision to follow Jesus, ask for forgiveness of sin, and receive the gift of eternal life. It's about beginning a real relationship with God.
"If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." – Romans 10:9
2. Water Baptism
Baptism is an outward expression of the inward change that takes place when you accept Christ. It’s a public declaration of your faith and a powerful symbol of dying to your old self and being raised to new life in Jesus.
"Those who accepted his message were baptized..." – Acts 2:41
3. Attend a “Following Jesus” Class
At Living Word Church, we offer a Following Jesus class based on the book by Samuel Deuth. This class will help you understand the foundations of your new faith—what it means to follow Christ daily, grow spiritually, and live with purpose.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations... teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." – Matthew 28:19-20
